may 2006: kassie and i went on an exploratory trip to germany to see if we might want to live there next year. my company, siemens oncology, is relocating from california to erlangen, germany and kassie and i have the opportunity to go as well. we spent a few days in erlangen and nearby nürnberg, and then drove to münchen (a.k.a munich) for the weekend.
